The Biocom Institute Technician Certification (BioTC) is the first regional credential of its kind offered to recent graduates from LA’s bioscience and biotechnology programs to address this demand. Designed with the input of leading Life Science companies, the BioTC offers employers a clear way to identify graduates with the core competencies they seek in entry level technicians.
How to earn the BioTC.
To earn the BioTC, graduates must complete and pass a free assessment exam administered by Los Angeles Mission College. This two-hour exam includes 120 questions covering a broad range of fundamental knowledge and competencies employers are looking for in entry-level biomanufacturing technicians.
